Clean Water and Sanitation Projects

Introduction

Ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental aspect of our infrastructure improvement projects in schools. This involves:

Installation of Water Filtration Systems:  Providing water filtration systems to remove contaminants and provide a reliable source of clean water for students and staff.

Repair and Maintenance of Water Infrastructure:  Conducting assessments and necessary repairs on existing water infrastructure to prevent leaks, contamination, and other issues that may compromise water quality.

Monitoring Water Quality:  Establishing regular monitoring systems to ensure ongoing water quality and implementing protocols for immediate action in case of any issues.

In addition to providing clean water, our projects include comprehensive sanitation and hygiene education programs to promote overall health among students. This involves:

Hygiene Workshops:  Organizing interactive workshops to educate students about the importance of personal hygiene, proper handwashing techniques, and maintaining a clean environment.

Distribution of Hygiene Kits:  Providing students with hygiene kits containing essential items such as soap, toothbrushes, and other sanitary products to encourage good hygiene practices at home and in school.

Impact Assessment:

Health Improvement Metrics:  Providing students with hygiene kits containing essential items such as soap, toothbrushes, and other sanitary products to encourage good hygiene practices at home and in school.

Attendance Rates:  Monitoring school attendance rates to assess the positive impact of clean water and sanitation facilities on students’ ability to attend classes regularly.
